- Changes in taste and smell
- Metallic taste in the mouth
- Persistent dry mouth
- Preoccupation with food on television
- Disgust with leftovers
- Sensitivity to the temperature of liquids
- Gas (especially smelly gas, I'm told)
- New sounds in the belly
- Getting cold more easily
- Feeling grouchy or irritable
- Craving foods such as salads or popsicles
- Sensitivity to sweets or sugars
- Constipation
- Feeling tired
- Needing to take naps of go to bed earlier
- Fear of swallowing food
- Questioning if you really had surgery
- Mourning a favorite food or way of eating
- Noticing how large others' portions are
- Nausea
- Vomiting
